October 2015 Ipsy Bag Unbagging

I have good months and bad months with Ipsy. The last few have been ok, but haven't really wowed me. This month's bag was amazing! I'm still unsure of how I feel about the bag. It's cute, but it isn't my favorite. I may just use it to put a Christmas gift in. My overall thoughts on the bag are super awesome. I really loved all my products, and I know I'll use them all.

Come watch my unbagging video here. https://youtu.be/GJ_4jH80Ibc Closeup shots of each product will be below!

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Dollar Tree Haul!

I have been going through such a stressful time, and I really thought some retail therapy was in order. But, I'm kinda broke right now, so I took my no-money-having self to the Dollar Tree! I love it when they have well known drugstore brands there, so I can try some stuff I never got to without spending more than a dollar a product.

Let's start with Milani! I have 5 products to show you guys. The first 3 are lip products. I've got 2 Easy Liner For Lips in the shades Most Natural and Rose Pink. I needed more lip liners. and these are retractable which is great! I think Most Natural may be a little too light for me, but if I line my entire lips with it and then apply a nude gloss over it, I think it may work.

I also found one of the Lip Intense Liquid Colors in Red Extreme. I've recently become a fan of red lips, and this is such a gorgeous shade. I'm pretty excited to have it.

The last 2 items from Milani are their Infinite Liquid Eyeliners. I have the shades Forever and Endless. These are gonna be so much fun to play with! I'm especially excited about Forever. That is definitely going in my inner corner and along the lower lash line.

From Physician's Formula I got the 100% Natural Origin Blush in Warming Organics and the Mineral Wear Lip Sheen in Moonstone. I don't know what I'm gonna do with the so called blush, because it doesn't really look like much on me. The gloss, on the other hand, is really nice. I like the feel of it and the shine.

I picked up a Soothing Lip Balm from elf in Strawberry and the Healthy Glow Bronzing Powder in Matte Bronze. The lip balm is a lip balm, but the bronzer is actually dark enough for my skin. I'm really impressed. Great 1$ find.

The last 3 products are from Maybelline and Revlon.  I got 2 repeat foundations from the Nearly Naked line in Cappuccino. I have an open bottle of this and I love it, so obviously I picked these up for 2 bucks. From Maybelline I got a really pretty shadow pencil from the Crystal Glitters collection in Polar Bear Pink. It's so pretty!!!

Beauty Trash: Body And Hair

It's been a hot minute since I've done an empties post. So I thought I'd start with the category that I have the most empty products. Obvious right?

Starting with hair are, these are the three conditioning products I've emptied up. Apple Blossom Contioner from White Rain was for my daughter. She has very low maintenance, thin hair. This did the trick of softening it without weighing it down. The other two were mine. I absolutely love the Argon Oil hair mask. I've ised this several times before, and every time I do, I'm not disappointed. As for the Briogeo leave-in, it was ok. It wasn't great, but it didn't suck. I wouldn't buy a fullsize.

From this lot, my favorite thing was the detangling stay. It works so well on helping get the knots out of my daughter's hair. I already have another bottle of this that I'm using on her. The spray from 12 Benefits and the Ecru cream, I didn't have complaints about, but they weren't life changing.

Working in food service makes it so I have to wash my hands a ton. So naturally, the skin on my hands is really dry. These are 3 of the best hand lotions I've used in a good while. Of all three, the cream from Figs & Rouge had the very best texture and scent.

However much I love Bath & Body Works, I couldn't finish this lotion. It got lost under my bed, and I found it recently. Since I couldn't tell how long it had been open, I decided to toss it.

Softsoap makes my very favorite simple scents for cheap. I always have Crisp Cucumber & Melon in my bathroom. I keep all the other scents rotated between the second bath and the kitchen.

I finally finished my last bottle of Midnight Pomegranate body wash. It was my all time favorite scent from BBW. I had stocked up on a good number of bottles when I found out it was being discontinued. All I have left from the line is a tiny bit of body spray. I liked the Olay and Doce body washes, but I'm gonna have to stick with BBW unless I get more samples.

I have just 2 more empties to share with you guys. The little one really enjoyed the Crayola bath paint. It didn't have a ton of pigment to it, but for 1$, I didn't expect a ton. I got the Kneipp bath oil in a subscription box. I didn't think I would like it because I'm not really a fan of anything lavender scented, but this was great! I used a little less than recommended so the smell wasn't so strong.
