November 2014 Glossybox Unboxing - My First!

I am so unbelievably excited to bring you guys this unboxing today! Like the title says, this is my first Glossybox ever! I've wanted this box for the longest time, and just never had the extra money to get it. Then I found about this awesome deal on it from Rue La La, so I had to get it.Glossybox is a monthly subscription service that features only deluxe size samples and full size beauty products. It costs 21$/mo.

Glossybox comes in a really cute outer cardboard packing box with cute little symbols on it. Inside is the actually box. It's a soft pink with black glossy letters across it. The box, itself, is really sturdy, so I'll be using it to store some things. All the products are wrapped up in a cute little bundle of tissue paper secured with a sticker on one side and a black ribbon on the other.

12 Benefits Instant Healthy Hair Treatment
This product boasts a ton of claims! To me, it looks like a leave-in conditioner, which is perfectly fine with me. I love getting haircare products in my subscriptions. It's one of the only parts of my beauty routine that I semi-neglect. The bottle is a really pretty hot pink, and the spray itself, smells delicious!

Kneipp Herbal Bath in Balancing Lavender
This looks like a bath oil of some sort. It's supposed to help calm you. I don't take a ton of baths, so this will just have to wait til I have a pamper day before I use it. Lavender isn't my favorite scent as it can be a bit overwhelming to me, but as long as it's light, I'm sure I'll enjoy it.

Juice Beauty Green Apple Age Defy Moisturizer
I have never tried this brand before, but I have always wanted to! Ipsy used to feature this brand a bit, back when I first subscribed. I haven't seen a Juice Beauty product in any subscriptions lately, and since it's winter, a moisturizer is a must!

Kryolan Blusher in Glossy Rosewood
I have also never tried anything by Kryolan, but have been a fan of their products. My blush arrived broken, but the color and texture are amazing! This is a very natural, everyday pink, and the blush feels like soft cotton sheets.

OPI Nail Lacquer in Pink Outside the Glossybox
I love OPI nail polish. They have an amazing formula, and the dry time is just fabulous. I think I have 2 other soft pinks, but they have different tones and opacities than this color. Be sure to check my Instagram for swatches of this polish.

Price Summary:
12 Benefits Spray - 5.00$
Kneipp Herbal Bath - 3.96$
Juice Beauty Moisturizer - 11.25$
Kryolan Blusher (FULL SIZE!) - 16.17$
OPI Nail Lacquer (FULL SIZE!) - 9.50$
Total: 45.88$ USD

December 2014 Starlooks Starbox Unboxing

I am so excited to share this unboxing with you guys! Every year since they started, Starbox features a 15 shadow palette worth 100$ in their December box. This year is no different. This was the original reason I subscribed to Starbox in the first place. You can't beat paying only about 18$ for that! If you want to see last year's palette, just click here. The name of this palette is Mermaid (Ultimate Satin).

The colors included in the palette are to die for! They are all so stunning together. This is such a great combination of shades, too. You can do a really simple day time look with this, a playful look, or a sultry night time look all with one single palette!

My favorite shades in the palette are the gorgeous shimmery mid brown in the upper right corner, the teal blue on the bottom left, and the entirety of the middle row. I'm not kidding.

Overall, I would give this palette a 8.5/10. A few of the brighter shadows didn't swatch very well or show up well on the lid. The texture of them was really smooth, for the most part. The only real disappointment with this palette was the blue shimmery shade on the bottom row. It almost didn't show up when I swatched it.

December 2014 Ipsy Glam Bag Unboxing

It's the last bag of the year you guys! *tear* That's ok though. That means it should be the best, right? Not quite. This month's bag was a bit of a disappointment compared to last year's bag. The theme, card, and bag for this month were pretty cute though. It even came with a cute little key chain.

NYX Butter Lip Balm in Red Velvet
I can always use another lip balm. This one gives a bit of a tint and has a wonderful smell. I love the Butter line from NYX, so why wouldn't I love the lip balms as well?

BWC Facial Cleanser
This cleanser has a long list of awesome, including being vegan, paraben free, soap free, synthetic fragrance free, and pH balanced. I could always use another cleanser, especially for traveling. It has a fresh smell, too.

Pixi Fairy Dust in Brightening Bare
Every time we get a Pixi product, I'm a bit disappointed. This month, I got a loose eye shadow. The color is pretty. It's a light champagne color which would be good for a simple eye look or for an inner corner highlight, but the packaging is a fail. There was no safety seal on it, and every time you pull the applicator out, you end up with powder all over.

Crown Brush Dual Ended Crease/Shadow Brush
I hate it when Ipsy repeats products in a short period of time. My mom got this in her Ipsy bag just a few months ago. I wanted it then, and I'm happy with getting it now, but I feel like it's just left over product.

Tarte Lights, Camera, Lashes Mascara
This is the product I am most excited about for December's bag! I have never tried out a Tarte mascara. I've been holding off on buying any new mascaras because I have so many unopened ones as back up, but I'll definitely be giving this one a try since it's a mini.

Price Summary:
NYX Balm (FULL SIZE!) - 3.99$
BWC Cleanser - 1.42$
Pixi Shadow (FULL SIZE!) - 10.00$
Crown Brush (FULL SIZE!) - 17.50$
Tarte Mascara - 8.33$
Total: 41.24$ USD

Lip Monthly | November 2014

Welcome to my November Lip Monthly bag! Thank you so much for being here. I don't thank you guys enough for visiting my blog, but let's get back to the bag, since that's what you're here for. Lip Monthly is the only other 10$ monthly subscription service that I know of besides Ipsy. It is a lip product themed subscription. Every product is a lip product except for 1.

If you totally wanna subscribe using my link, go for it! There was also a coupon code in our bags this month for new subscribers to get their first bag for just 5$! Use the code: HOLIDAYLIPS

Lip Monthly has started mixing up their bags each month. This bag reminds me of the beauty product skyline bag that Ipsy tried to do earlier this year, except this bag is way cuter.

Ofra Lipliner in Maya
This lip liner is a gorgeous color! It's kind of a rusty brick red color. I love it. The other few Ofra products I've gotten in the past have been hit or miss, but this one seems to be a hit. And it goes really great with the next product we got.

Hikari Lipstick in Cabernet
That sounds familiar! I actually got the exact same shade of lipstick in an Ipsy bag a few months ago. I like the formula and the packaging, but I don't need a duplicate item. This is going into my mom's stocking.

City Color Cosmetics White Gold Mousse Eyeshadow
Speaking of duplicate products... I really do love this shadow. The texture is phenomenal, and the color is spectacular, but I really don't need another. This, too, is going in someone's stocking.

NYC Expert Last Lipstick in Purple Crush
I already own 2 of the lipsticks in this line, and I have to say I'm thoroughly impressed with these. They glide on really well and are pretty moisturizing. This shade does have some shimmer to it, but that won't be an issue for the holidays.

Crown Brushes Lip Crush
This was definitely a surprise for this bag. I wasn't expecting to get any tools in this subscription. I don't ever use lip brushes all that much, but now that I have a nice one, I'll have to try it out.

Price Summary:
Ofra Liner (FULL SIZE!) - 13$
Hikari Lippie (FULL SIZE!) - 13$
CCC Shadow (FULL SIZE!) - 4$
NYC Lippie (FULL SIZE!) - 1.99$
Crown Lip Crush (FULL SIZE!) - 3$
Total: 34.99$ USD

Starlooks Starbox | November 2014

Welcome to my November Starbox Unboxing! This is definitely become one of my favorite subscriptions. It's only 15$ a month plus about 3$ shipping, and you get 3-4 FULL SIZE products each month. Just to drop a little hint, if you sign up for Starbox before December 10th, you'll get the December box that comes with a massive 15 shadow palette! They've done this the past two years, and last December was my first box. Feel free to use my link.

November's theme was Mineral Inspired, so everything was glittery and glamorous and gorgeous.

Starlooks Infinity Eye Liner in Wyld
I love getting their pot liners. They're always super creamy and long lasting. This color is so beautiful. It's like a muted golden taupe. It's actually a perfect eyeshadow base. I'm not sure how much use I'll get our of it as a liner, though.

Starlooks Infinity Lip Pencil in Terri's Choice
Recently, I've become a huge fan of lip pencils, so I was pretty happy to get one in this month's box. This color is so beautiful, too! It is the perfect holiday lip color. The only downfall to this product is that it has to be sharpened.

Starlooks Glitter in Quartz
While I've never been much into glitters, I think I may have found my weakness. The glitter I got this month is so gorgeous!!! It reminds me of the color of Cranberry Sierra Mist, as corny as that sounds.

Starlooks Extra
This month's extra is a little packet of rhinestones. They're perfect for spicing up your look this holiday season.

Price Summary:
Liner - 16$
Lip Pencil - 13$
Glitter - 18$
Total: 47.00$ USD
