Target Beauty Box March 2014

Occasionally, Target will have a beauty box listed on their website. I haven't seen one in a while. This one, I only caught because someone had posted a video about it on YouTube. Being me, I had to purchase one since they were only 5$! The box included 5 products, 2 of which were full size, and the other 3 being deluxe sample/travel size.

When the box arrived in the mail, it just came wrapped in plastic with a mailing label on the top. I took that off so you can see the box by itself. You can take the sleeve off and just have a plain white box to store things in. It's pretty sturdy. The contents come wrapped in red tissue paper.

The box came with a card detailing what was inside. It also came with a Target coupon as well as coupon codes to a few online stores! SCORE!

I immediately gravitated towards the lipgloss. It's the Covergirl Lipslicks Smoochies in the shade Date Night. The gloss is in a squeeze tube. Slightly problematic, but not awful. It smells like a dream though! It does have glitter flakes, but they aren't chunky or bothersome on the lips. The lipgloss isn't super sticky, either. It has a bit of tackiness to it, but that makes it last longer to me.

The next thing I pulled out is the Herbal Essenses Naked Dry Shampoo. I have never used this before. I have used dry shampoo, just not this brand. It won't get a whole lot of use until it gets really hot outside. I'm glad I have it though.

Up next is the Toni & Guy Casual Sea Salt Texturising Spray. I love love love texturizing sprays! I got one in an Ipsy bag a while back and fell in love. I love using these to set my curls since my hair is so soft and doesn't hold a curl well. It smells good and comes with a standard spray cap. I can't argue with that.

I also got the L'Oreal Voluminous Butterfly Mascara. I've been wanting to try this out since it came out just to see about the want. I love different mascara wands and seeing how the application differs. I haven't opened this yet, though, since I have like 9 other open mascaras.

Lastly, is the Jergens BB Body Cream in Light. I've seen this all over the place lately, and I was never going to purchase it. It just isn't a product that appeals to me. But since I have it, I'll use it. I'll just end up using it as a hand cream.

Price Summary:
Smoochies - 5.00
Dry Shampoo - 1.73
Texture Spray - 4.99
Mascara - 7.99
BB Lotion - 3.20
Total: 22.91

I paid 5$ plus tax for this beauty box and got 23$ worth of products! I'd say that was a win!

Kiss, Kiss.
